Who is responsible

When you book a table we store your name, email address, phone number, party size, date, time, venue and any note you add. We use this only to manage your reservation, to send confirmations and reminders, and to contact you about your visit. The legal basis is taking steps to fulfil your booking.
Reservation emails (confirmations, changes, reminders) are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which processes your name and email address on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement, within the EU. We keep a short send log (type of email, date, delivery status) to check that messages arrived. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Reservation details are kept for as long as needed to run your booking and handle follow-up, and are deleted or anonymised no later than 24 months after your visit. Anti-abuse records for the booking form use one-way fingerprints instead of your email or IP address and are kept for a short period only. Security logs for our staff tools contain no guest details.
If you contact us by email or phone, we keep your message and contact details for as long as it takes to answer you properly and to handle any follow-up.
Our website is hosted by a service provider that processes technical access data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is needed to deliver the site safely and to detect abuse.
The site works without advertising cookies. We only store what is technically needed, for example your chosen language. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or restriction, or object to how we use it. Email jungle.joy.malta@gmail.com from the address you booked with so we can verify the request; we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Maltese Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
